Fotobokfestival Oslo 2024 borrows its title from Vilém Flusser's book, What If? which is a collection of twenty-two scenarios for the future, divided into three main chapters; scenes from family life, the economy, and politics. The curators have used these classifications as guiding principles when creating the festival's main exhibition, which consists of almost 90 photo books that are thematically or associatively linked to family life, the economy, and politics.
